Insurance Club helps our members budget by taking per pay deposits and holding them for car taxes and insurance.

You may elect a withdrawal at any time by contacting the Credit Union. If you would like the Upstate FCU to write a check payable to the tax agency or insurance co - you may do so by sending a request and a copy of the bill to us.

For example: Car Taxes = $400/yr Car Insurance = $600/yr Total = $1000/yr divided by 24 (if paid 2x’s monthly)

Using this example you would need to deposit $41.66 to your Insurance Club account per pay period. This seems affordable when you consider the alternative of having to come up with as much as $600 at one time. Call the credit union for details.
