To open a checking account, please visit one of our offices.  Or, Print out an application to open an account online.  Please note that in order to take advantage of our Checking options, you must open and maintain an Upstate FCU Savings account.  A $25 deposit establishes your membership and entitles you to use all of our services.  Anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in Anderson or Abbeville Counties is welcome to join our credit union.

Penny Penguin Youth Account

* Open with only a few dollars * Dividends are earned with a balance of $100.00 or more * Deposits can be made through Payroll deduction * Each deposit earns a special gift for your child

Youth Checking Account

* For Full time or part time Students * Free On-Line Banking * Free 24/7 Phone information * No Monthly Service Charges * ATM card available * No minimum balance required

Youth Step Certificate

Earn Higher Dividends with a 12 or 24 month Youth Step Certificate. There is no minimum requirement for opening these accounts. We require only $40.00 minimum deposit per month. You may add to your child's certificate by payroll deduction. Dividends are compounded quarterly and posted quarterly on the 1st day of the quarter. Penalty free withdrawals are permitted on accrued dividends. Other withdrawals are subject to penalty prior to maturity.

Premium Checking Account

Earn a higher rate of dividends for maintaining a a $10,000.00 minimum balance. Dividends are paid on a tier structure. Unlimited check and debit card transactions. Free checks and Visa Debit Card. Free On-line Banking and Bill Pay.

A regular savings account that pays a competitive rate of interest.
